Hampton Inn Harrisburg/Grantville/Hershey

The breakfast was alright. Variety of stuff. Girl at front desk when we checked in was friendly. The room however was , Tidy… That’s it.. It wasn’t clean. Mold on shower ceiling. Shower walls had a gross film on them. Hair around railings. Hair in sink. Didn’t bother complaint as we only stayed one night. However, probably won’t stay there again. Beds were quite comfortable though!

Never stay there again. Bad example Hampton brand. Need more friendly people at font desk. After calling weeks in advance for connected rooms I was told it can be guaranteed if it is paid in advance and of course with a premium. Upon arrival a lazy rude dude at front desk told me no such a thing and ruined my new years eve travelling with small children. Even refused to credit me for the difference.

I picked the hotel for its breakfast but ended up being grateful for their amazing customer service as well. The breakfast was very good! Their cheese and veggie omelette was delicious. The sliced smoked sausage was ok, they had a nice waffle bar, yoghurts, orange juice, coffee. We got a double Queen room. The carpet especially near air conditioning unit was noticeably wet, and the bathroom sink didn’t drain properly. The location was nice, 18min from Hershey Park, which was way cheaper than hotels right next to the HP. And then. We checked out and left my huge makeup bag on the hook in the bathroom. It had jewelry, my fancy makeup, my favorite makeup brushes, everything I use daily. Called the moment I realized it was missing but their front desk couldn’t leave the station to physically check because it was late at night. I called again the next morning. The lady at the front desk was very nice, had someone go up and check the bathroom. They found the bag. She took my phone number, CC and mailing address and the Room Service Manager UPS’d it 2nd day! Everything is there. I am just so relieved and grateful that they mailed it so quickly.
